Job summary

Home Market Foods seeks an Operations Supervisor to provide strategic and hands-on leadership across production departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance. The role oversees daily floor execution, adherence to safety procedures and food safety standards, and attainment of operational targets.

It drives team development, continuous improvement, and cross‑departmental collaboration while maintaining accountability and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Three to five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing required; food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including MES and ERP systems (D365 preferred).
• Experience in inventory management and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership and ensure compliance with OSHA, HACCP, USDA and internal protocols.
• Maintain MES and ERP data entry accuracy, including real-time production records and inventory transactions.
• Monitor attainment, labor efficiency, yield, OEE, downtime; escalate significant gaps to Operations Superintendent.
• Organize workload, delegate tasks, and manage staffing for line coverage and productivity.
• Prepare shift hand-offs and reports covering safety, staffing, quality, and KPIs.
• Coach and develop Team Leads and frontline employees; drive cross-training and career growth.
