Job summary

Feed Energy seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead plant operations with servant leadership, ensuring safety and efficiency on a 2PM–10:30PM shift, transitioning to overnight as operations expand. Background check and drug screen required, with CDL consideration for Pacific Junction operations.

You’ll oversee schedules, records, and production quality while maintaining floor presence and mentoring staff. The role involves hands-on operation about 30–40% of the time, safety committee

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED; additional education preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in related industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and interact with people on a one-to-one basis.
• Ability to troubleshoot day-to-day personnel concerns and lead.
• Follows directions, interprets written instructions, and operates a computer.

Responsibilities

• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals.
• Oversee operator team and ensure safety and compliance with policies.
• Maintain accuracy in records, logs, PIMS, and daily operations reports.
• Monitor inventories and conduct month-end close activities.
• Inspect materials and equipment, coordinating with maintenance for defects.
• Provide on-floor leadership and assist as a general operator as needed.
