Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. invites motivated students to join its Supply Chain & Operations Internship for a twelve-week summer development experience.

You will explore manufacturing roles across multiple plants, gaining hands-on exposure to production supervision, materials planning, procurement, logistics, quality, and Lean/Continuous Improvement. Locations include San Antonio, TX and Lubbock, TX among others.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
• Enrolled as a full-time student with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2030.
• Must have access to personal transportation and be willing to relocate to manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and projects.
• Learn the JCI Business System and support plants to meet KPIs.
• Oversee daily production support, capacity management, scheduling analysis, and cycle-time optimization.
