Job summary

Johnson Controls invites students to a twelve-week Supply Chain & Operations Internship across manufacturing plants, including Lubbock, TX. You will rotate through production supervision, manufacturing engineering, materials planning, procurement, logistics and Lean/Continuous Improvement to build business acumen.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management, with relocation willingness.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Enrolled as a full-time student with a planned graduation between December 2027 and June 2030.
• Must have access to personal transportation and be willing to relocate to a plant location.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and projects.
• Learn the JCI Business System and support plants to meet KPIs.
• Oversee daily production support, scheduling analysis, and cycle-time optimization.
• Monitor and report on KPIs and maintain reports for operational efficiency.
