Job summary

Johnson Controls is offering a twelve-week summer Supply Chain & Operations Internship across manufacturing plants in the United States. Interns will gain hands-on experience in production supervision, manufacturing engineering, materials planning, procurement, logistics and Lean/Continuous Improvement, with locations including TX and nearby states.

This paid internship includes relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Relevant internship, extracurricular, or project experience.
• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2030.
• Must have access to personal transportation.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and projects.
• Learn the JCI Business System and support plants to meet KPIs.
• Oversee daily production support, capacity management, scheduling analysis, and cycle-time optimization.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain and improve reports to enable manufacturing floor efficiency.
• Implement measures to minimize waste.
