Job summary

Johnson Controls offers a twelve-week Supply Chain & Operations Internship across multiple U.S. locations, including Marinette, WI.

Interns gain hands‑on exposure to production supervision, manufacturing engineering, materials planning, procurement, logistics, quality, and Lean/Continuous Improvement. Interns will learn the JCI Business System, work with experienced professionals, and rotate through strategic roles in our plants to build business acumen and leadership skills for a future SC&O

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2030.
• Must have access to personal transportation.
• Internship/ extracurricular/project experience in supply chain or manufacturing is preferred.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Willing to relocate to one of our plant locations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and projects.
• Learn the JCI Business System and support plants to meet and exceed KPIs.
• Oversee daily production support, including capacity management and scheduling analysis.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain and improve reports to enable manufacturing floor operations.
• Implement measures to minimize waste.
