Job summary

International Wire Group is seeking a detail-oriented Plant Operations & MRO Coordinator to support Rome, NY manufacturing operations. The role manages MRO inventory, purchasing, and administrative tasks to keep the plant running efficiently while collaborating with maintenance Technicians and plant leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate degree preferred, and 2+ years in purchasing or inventory control, with ERP or inventory systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, storeroom operations, or administrative support preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with MRO parts, inventory management, and purchasing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• MRO Inventory & Storeroom Management: order, receive, stock, and distribute maintenance parts, supplies, oils, and tools.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and process parts transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of critical supplies.
• Process parts requisitions and assist with sourcing replacement components.
• Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and quantity.
• Maintain an organized maintenance storeroom and purchasing records.
• Coordinate purchasing needs with plant leadership and vendors.
• Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager and leadership team.
