International Wire Group is seeking a highly organized Plant Operations & MRO Coordinator to support daily operations at our Oneida, NY manufacturing facility.

This role coordinates maintenance, purchasing, and administrative functions to ensure efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate with maintenance technicians, supervisors, vendors, and plant leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Two+ years in purchasing, inventory control, storeroom operations, or admin support preferred.

Responsibilities

• MRO Inventory & Storeroom Management: order, receive, stock, and distribute maintenance parts, supplies, oils, and specialized tools.
• Maintain inventory records and process parts transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of critical supplies.
• Process parts requisitions and assist with sourcing replacement components.
• Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and quantity.
• Maintain an organized maintenance storeroom and coordinate purchasing needs with plant leadership.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and outstanding purchasing needs.
• Verify incoming deliveries, receiving docs, and invoices.
• Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
• Provide admin support to Plant Manager and leadership team.
• Coordinate visitor and contractor sign-ins, mail, and deliveries.
• Maintain plant records, documentation, and filing systems.
• Coordinate meetings, plant events, travel, and expenses.
• Manage office supplies and coordinate with facility vendors.
• Route timekeeping corrections and HR-related requests to HR team.
• Coordinate new-hire logistics including badges and PPE.
• Direct employee HR-related requests to HR reps.
• Coordinate safety training and reporting including forklift recertification and LOTO.
