Job summary

International Wire Group is seeking a detailed Plant Operations & MRO Coordinator to support daily operations at our Oneida, NY manufacturing facility. The role focuses on coordinating MRO inventory, purchasing activities, and administrative tasks to sustain efficient plant operations.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with experience in inventory control and procurement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred in business admin or supply chain.
• 2+ years in purchasing, inventory control, storeroom, or admin support.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Familiar with MRO parts, inventory and purchasing processes.
• ERP or inventory management systems experience a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate with maintenance techs, supervisors, vendors, and plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• MRO inventory and storeroom management.
• Order, receive, stock, and distribute maintenance parts and tools.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and process parts transactions.
• Coordinate purchasing with plant leadership.
• Prepare requisitions and purchase orders.
• Assist with new-hire logistics and HR-related requests.
