Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Site Manager to lead plant operations, focusing on safety, reliability, cost, and quality. You will oversee production teams and drive continuous improvement, ensuring OSHA compliance while meeting targets.

The role requires a proven track record in production management, strong leadership, and the ability to align processes and assets with corporate goals within a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in production management.
  • In-depth manufacturing knowledge including corrugating and converting equipment.
  • OSHA compliance knowledge and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee plant performance including safety, cost, uptime, quality, waste and process reliability.
  • Ensure OSHA requirements and safety methods are followed.
  • Coordinate site efforts with Complex General Manager and other facilities.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to reduce costs and become a low-cost provider.
  • Manage direct reports across customer service, production, quality, shipping, scheduling and maintenance.
  • Build and maintain an effective team and organizational structure to maximize performance.
  • Manage plant assets and align with strategic plans.
