Job summary

Ranpak is seeking a Manager, Paper Operations to lead daily paper production across multiple shifts, drive safety and quality standards, and optimize throughput. The role requires hands-on leadership on the production floor and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including maintenance, quality, logistics, and HR.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in production management within heavy industry, strong leadership, and proficiency in SAP and planning tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in production management, preferably within paper manufacturing or a heavy industrial environment.
• Proven ability to manage production flow and oversee multiple shifts.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and production scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily paper production activities across multiple shifts.
• Monitor machine operations, production output, and team performance to meet goals.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Maintain hands-on supervision on the production floor.
• Operate production lines when needed to maintain throughput.
• Supervise shift leads, operators, shipping/receiving, and maintenance teams.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary action as needed.
