Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search's client, a global manufacturing company, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead Anderson, SC manufacturing operations.

You will oversee Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to hit safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives, manage multi-functional teams, and collaborate with Engineering, HR, Quality, and EHS to execute strategic plans and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in blow-molding/injection-molding/plastics/auto.
• Leadership experience across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Scheduling, and Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize utilization of personnel, equipment, and capital to maximize performance.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other improvement programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimize downtime.
• Partner with Engineering/Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and tooling performance.
• Lead capital projects from evaluation to commissioning and optimization.
• Establish metrics and take corrective actions for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, and IATF standards.
• Manage budgets and control labor, materials, maintenance, and capital costs.
• Collaborate with Materials, HR, Quality, EHS and external partners.
