Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus college and/or appropriate technical courses.
• Five years experience as a proven manager.
• Ten years corrugated manufacturing experience.
• College degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs production, distribution, maintenance, receiving and supervision operations for the Plant, personally or through subordinate supervisors.
• Leads all departments in the plant with department supervisors to maintain safety, quality, and efficient production.
• Coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with policies, principles, and established procedures.
• Develops and implements plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
• Reviews production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of plant.
• Directs preparation of production, human resources, and labor/costs records.
• Recommends budgets to management and assists management in negotiation of employee contracts.
• Maintains positive working relationship with sales management and customer service management.
• Systematically reviews financial performance of the plant to recommend opportunities for sales growth and cost savings.
• Coordinates plant safety, environmental and training activities in cooperation with HR.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
