Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily operations at our North Carolina facility. The role oversees processing, maintenance, safety, and quality control while driving cost-effective production and continuous improvement.

The manager directs staff across shifts, manages staffing, payroll, and documentation, and ensures adherence to cGMP and company policies. This exempt, full-time position reports to the Operations Director and requires on-site presence with 24/7 on-call

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of supervisory/leadership experience in food processing or similar industrial settings.
Experience supervising hourly employees and managing daily workflow.
Strong communication skills in a bilingual environment (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

Oversee all processing, drying, maintenance and cleaning operations at the plant.
Manage staffing, training, safety compliance and KPIs.
Coordinate load scheduling, production projections and labor across shifts.
Ensure cGMPs compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Review payroll, equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance schedules.
Maintain dock operations, inventory, labeling and outbound preparation.
