Job summary

DAP is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the compounding and packaging departments at our Austin area plant. You will lead 135+ associates across 24x4 and 12x3 operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while upholding the non-union status of the facility.

You will drive planning, budgeting, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with Plant Manager and peers to optimize costs and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field and 7+ years in the relevant field.
• Management training with maintenance skills and ability.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MRO systems, mainframe and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate workloads within budgeting constraints and staffing needs.
• Lead safety culture and drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Hire, train, evaluate staff and maintain non-union status.
• Develop and track key metrics; lead RCA investigations and cost-saving ideas.
• Communicate plan across shifts; ensure timely execution and resource optimization.
