Job summary

Genpak in Texas is seeking a Plant Manager to direct the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality within specifications. This senior role requires strong leadership, organizational skills and cross‑functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF and OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing processes (extrusion/thermoforming) is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance and Packaging.
• Coordinate with HR, Accounting and Purchasing to align goals and actions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF and audit readiness.
• Monitor safety and environmental policies per OSHA/EPA standards.
• Analyze metrics, set targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report production performance and manage day-to-day operations.
