DAP is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the compounding and packaging departments, guiding 135+ associates across 24x4 and 12x3 operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, customer service, efficiency, and cost management while preserving a non-union environment.

The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with the Plant Manager and other peers to drive continuous improvement and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in the relevant field.
• Management training with maintenance skills, knowledge, and ability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and time management skills.
• Microsoft Office software, MRO systems, Mainframe interactions, inventory, and financial management skills.
• Ability to hit timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate staffing requirements within customer service and budgetary constraints.
• Establish safety culture and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe facility.
• Establish quality standards and procedures to ensure product quality.
• Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff to maintain non-union status and drive continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor key metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to meet objectives.
