Job summary

Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to oversee production, maintenance, scheduling and shipping with a strong emphasis on safety in our Sioux Falls plant.

You will lead supervisors, ensure OSHA compliance, drive continuous improvement, manage inventories and costs, and maintain quality and on-time shipments while building a positive team culture. Qualifications

• Ability to drive results and lead teams in production, safety, quality and schedules.
• Excellent collaboration with all departments to meet objectives.
• Strong verbal and written communication and mentoring skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of plant equipment and lean manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of production, maintenance, scheduling and shipping with a focus on safety.
• Follow and enforce safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Maintain OSHA regulatory compliance in training and plant operations.
• Direct production, maintenance and shipping teams to meet standards and schedules.
• Ensure customer specifications are met and quality audits are addressed.
• Lead supervisors and managers, mentor staff, and manage performance and discipline.
• Staff, train and prepare leaders for future responsibilities.
