Job summary

Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative in Eugene, OR is seeking a Plant Supervisor to lead production crews, ensure safe operation, manage staffing and shift performance, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with experience supervising teams and ensuring compliance with safety policies; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate or associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Lead with at least 3 direct reports.
• Bi-Lingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production crew and team leads to operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Manage the security and cleanliness of the yard and outer areas of the plant.
• Lead Safety meetings with all shift crew members.
• Execute staffing plan in collaboration with Plant Manager or Plant Director.
• Coordinate work activities with other groups within the company.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work environment.
• Responsible for shift production processes and proper staffing levels.
• Ensure Safety Compliance with all crew members.
• Collaborate with on-shift maintenance staff to maintain workflow.
• Select, train, evaluate, and recommend termination for all direct reports.
