Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in the United States seeks a Plant Manager to lead a high-volume manufacturing site in Virginia. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and people development while executing the manufacturing excellence roadmap.

You’ll guide cross-functional teams, optimize lean processes, and manage CQV for equipment and new products. Strong leadership, communication, and change-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; or 15 years relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing, including packaging, process engineering, warehousing, and assembly.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior people management role, leading a cross-functional team.
• Proven lean tools, processes, and systems to deliver sustained improvement.
• Experience with cross-functional teams, and managing operational/financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations leadership to drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team development.
• Develop site strategies for COGS reduction while managing growth or expansion.
• Drive lean thinking and employee engagement as a way of life in the plant.
• Manage new equipment projects and establish CQV processes.
