Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory and production management experience.
• Proven ability to meet objectives with time-sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to forecast production requirements and organize workload into a schedule.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing, customer service and distribution interrelations.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Leadership in staff development and training; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct plant operations for the facility and manage staff activities (workload, receiving, maintenance, inventory, distribution).
• Review practices for quality workmanship and process flow; diagnose improvements and implement productivity programs.
• Ensure on-time product delivery; prepare and distribute production schedules.
• Maintain quality standards; establish and facilitate QC programs with vendors for raw materials.
• Oversee safety compliance; administer safety training and OSHA/ISO programs as applicable.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and schedule equipment downtime for repairs.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure controlled processes and timely product delivery to customers.
• Manage budgets and staffing levels; develop group leaders and associates; promote continuous improvement.
