Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a Plant Manager for a high-volume vinyl windows and doors facility in Streetsboro, OH. The role reports to the Director of Operations and leads a ~300-employee site in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people leadership.

The successful candidate will drive lean initiatives, optimize production, and develop talent while advancing the company-wide manufacturing excellence roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12–15 years of significant, relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including assembly, process engineering, warehousing, and/or packaging operations.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience, including leading cross-functional teams.
• Proven Lean principles, tools, and systems experience driving sustainable continuous improvement.
• Experience leading teams through compliant execution of established management systems and processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office;AutoCAD and statistical analysis tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop site strategies to reduce COGS while supporting growth and expansion.
• Deliver year-over-year cost improvements in direct labor and overhead.
• Lead implementation, piloting, and commercialization of new products.
• Own safety and security across the site and proactively address risks.
• Optimize production schedules balancing efficiency, demand, and worker well‑being.
• Drive quality through QA Index and Right First Time metrics.
• Lead Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives across the site.
• Champion manufacturing excellence roadmap and drive accountability.
• Embed Lean and employee engagement into daily operations.
