Debbie's Staffing Services, Inc. in Martinsville, VA is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while championing continuous improvement across production, maintenance, and support teams.

You will oversee Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen), manage resources and staffing, mentor leaders, and partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet customer commitments while advancing innovation and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; operations management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing supervisors, technicians, and production teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and workplace safety.
• Proven ability to drive employee engagement and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations at Martinsville facility.
• Drive performance against production schedules, quality goals, and customer commitments.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvement strategies.
• Manage resources, staffing, and budgets in line with objectives.
• Promote safety culture and ensure OSHA/compliance.
• Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.
