Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Plant Manager to lead defined operations functions supporting its global power tools facilities. You will drive operational excellence, implement world-class manufacturing strategies, and build high-performing teams that support ambitious growth.

As a leader, you’ll ensure the facility meets its objectives, develops its people, and embodies Milwaukee’s cultural values through data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or Industrial Technology or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience leading operations and a diverse workforce, including 2+ years in plant management.
  • Experience or certification in Lean/Six Sigma, inventory management/planning, and/or project management are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: motivate, coach, and drive the team to results.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the facilities readiness to support manufacturing operations.
  • Develop staffing and training plans for the plant – short and long-term.
  • Build and maintain a safe, efficient plant with a culture anchored on company values.
  • Develop KPIs and manage them to meet or exceed goals.
  • Balance daily objectives with strategic improvement projects.
  • Plan and manage the plant budget to maintain financial health.
  • Lead production oversight to ensure on-time delivery and inventory targets.
  • Manage logistics and supply chain relationships to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to achieve safety, quality, service, and cost targets.
  • Identify gaps and optimize processes, systems, and flow across value streams.
