Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Team Lead I to oversee safety, quality, and productivity on the shop floor. You will guide the equipment operators, coordinate with supervision, and drive Lean/6S initiatives to improve performance.

You will mentor team members, manage training, and ensure timely changeovers and efficient use of materials. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential in this hands‑on leadership role at our Brookfield, Wisconsin facility.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; 1–2 years of production experience encouraged.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and use KPIs to drive changes.
• Lean/6S methodology understanding is desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate priorities based on supervision direction.
• Develop personnel on assigned equipment.
• Lead spot and scheduled training; remove development barriers.
• Ensure accuracy of work instructions.
• Own Lean/6S progression on equipment.
• Drive equipment performance to meet metrics.
• Coordinate with Department Lead and Plant Supervisor on Work Orders.
• Maintain communication with Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Planning to use materials efficiently.
