Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. seeks a Plant Operations Manager to lead Windsor, CT site teams and drive performance across safety, quality, and cost. This role reports to the Regional Director of Operations and partners with Commercial to meet customer specifications.

You will oversee budgeting, resource allocation, HR development, and regulatory compliance, while promoting Lean practices and environmental stewardship in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of Operations Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO9001 / ISO14001 and FDA regulations for medical device contract manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage broad spectrum manufacturing facilities in a capital intensive environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cost control and inventory across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment for all employees and visitors, meeting legislative requirements.
• Provide leadership and resources to ensure products/services meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams to build strong customer relationships.
• Manage site resources to optimize cash, materials, labor, equipment, and energy usage.
• Ensure environmental compliance and responsible operations across sites.
• Contribute to site development with HR, manufacturing processes, and equipment planning.
• Oversee site operating costs, budgeting, reforecasts, and monthly Sr. Management reporting.
• Develop human resources through training, career development, and succession planning.
• Lead risk management and monitor action resolution via company tracking processes.
