Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, and Quality teams.

You will drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a 24/5 environment, coordinating across shifts and departments to meet customer commitments. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional collaboration, implementing lean initiatives, and ensuring performance metrics like OEE and productivity are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years manufacturing experience, with leadership responsibilities.
• Previous Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop others, and manage multiple shifts.
• Travel and ability to work across teams (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Lead Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, and Quality teams to meet customer expectations.
• Implement and maintain production systems for safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate meetings and ensure schedule execution across three shifts.
• Partner with Sales, Materials, Shipping and Receiving, R&D for process improvements.
• Promote operational capabilities and provide outstanding customer service.
