Job summary

Pick Your Part in Michigan is seeking an operations leader to supervise multiple departments across production, admin, distribution and safety. You will drive customer service, quality, and efficiency while managing budgets and KPIs.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 5 years of managerial experience in related fields, with preference for salvage-yard familiarity and strong MS Office reporting abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience related to production, operations, and/or distribution is required.
• Experience in salvage yards is preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departments for the specific facility pertaining to production, administration, distribution, and safety.
• Develop relationships with and provide service to existing customers to promote retention and loyalty.
• Interact with customers to determine better service needs and implement changes accordingly.
• Manage KPIs related to sales growth, collections, productivity, inventory control and profit margins.
• Establish accurate budget projections and work within the designated budget.
• Oversee product quality control and implement efficient changes as necessary.
• Manage human resources for all departments by hiring, terminating, and reassigning personnel as required.
• Identify deficiencies and implement a plan for continuous improvement.
