Job summary

The Plant Manager will manage budgets, deploy Lean and 5S, and collaborate across functions to optimize performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or plant operations with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, processes, quality systems, safety, and maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, solve operational problems, and drive improvements.
• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, and performance measurement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead, develop, and assess supervisors and employees for performance and policy adherence.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Monitor production output, labor utilization, equipment performance, downtime, and waste; drive improvements.
• Ensure products meet customer specs and support corrective actions to prevent defects.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment improvements to minimize downtime.
• Manage plant operating expenses, labor costs, materials usage, and resources.
• Identify and implement process improvements using Lean, 5S, root-cause analysis, and other methods.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and supply chain to maintain inventory levels.
