Job summary

Responsibilities include managing production schedules, supervising supervisors, enforcing safety, monitoring equipment performance, and coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or plant operations experience including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and performance measurement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to meet production schedules, quality, and delivery targets.
• Lead, develop, and hold supervisors and staff accountable for performance and attendance.
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production output, labor use, and equipment performance; drive improvements to reduce waste.
• Ensure products meet customer specs and quality requirements; support corrective actions.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and keep operations reliable.
• Manage plant operating expenses, labor costs, material usage, and other resources to meet financial goals.
• Identify and implement Lean/process improvements and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and supply chain to maintain inventory levels for production.
• Track KPIs and report results to senior management; drive continuous improvement across functions.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, engineering, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
