The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily plant operations in Linden, MI, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-conscious production. You will lead production, maintenance, quality, and supervising staff to meet schedules and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include driving Lean and 5S improvements, managing budgets and KPIs, coordinating with procurement and warehousing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to deliver excellence.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or plant operations with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, quality systems, safety, and maintenance practices.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and MS Office preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily plant operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead supervisors and employees to ensure performance and adherence to policies.
• Maintain a safe environment through safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production, labor use, equipment, downtime, and scrap; drive efficiency.
• Ensure products meet customer specs; support corrective actions.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment improvements.
• Manage operating expenses, labor costs, materials usage, and budgets.
• Identify and implement Lean, 5S, and other improvement methods.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and supply chain to maintain inventory.
• Track KPIs and report to senior management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer service, engineering, etc.
