Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to direct and coordinate plant operations on a production shift, ensuring procedures are followed to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.

You will lead 5–15 salaried employees and oversee 200+ hourly workers, fostering morale, training staff, and enforcing safety, HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs while partnering with Quality Assurance to sustain a food-safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8 years in manufacturing, or an associate degree with 6 years in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience of 200+ persons.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate shift production operations.
• Develop relationships and maintain morale while handling admin duties related to production.
• Lead production objectives and ensure targets are met.
• Implement process improvements and manage safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Plan to achieve budget objectives.
