Job summary

Pacific Coast Manufacturing (PCM) is seeking an Operations Coordinator to own day-to-day plant processes, from parts ordering to inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and general operational support.

This on-site role based in Chino, CA requires hands-on organization, proactive problem solving, and clear communication with vendors, the warehouse, and plant leadership to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in plant operations, inventory/cycle counting, shipping and receiving.
• Experience with ERP or inventory systems; Fishbowl helpful but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own ordering and stock levels for plant hardware and consumables.
• Establish and maintain practical reorder points and inventory buffers to prevent production delays.
• Monitor usage and availability to identify potential shortages before they become problems.
• Own a weekly rotating cycle-count program across WIP, finished goods, and raw-material areas.
• Reconcile physical counts and document discrepancies.
• Identify and escalate issues such as mislabeled parts, quantity mismatches, missing scrap, or remake entries.
• Help build a consistent, reliable inventory process rather than relying on an annual physical count to uncover problems.
• Provide day-to-day operational support to plant leadership and the floor team.
• Identify recurring gaps, bottlenecks, and process issues and recommend practical solutions
• Take ownership of the details that keep the plant organized,accurate, and moving.
