Job summary

Inolex is seeking a Site Director to lead the Charlotte Operations team, ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency. You will set strategic direction, standardize processes, and drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance.

You will manage budget, implement improvement initiatives, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to achieve company goals while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–20 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficient and safe production.
• Lead and provide leadership to the Charlotte Operations team to meet company goals.
• Develop and implement training programs and administer performance evaluations.
• Manage the plant budget and cost control with collaboration from the Plant Controller.
• Coordinate with quality, supply chain and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements.
