Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in plant modeling, simulation, or V&V environments.
  • Strong understanding of Model-Based Development (MBD) and virtual testing methods.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of 0D/1D physical system modeling and CI/CD tools + at least one scripting language.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain 0D/1D plant models representing physical systems (propulsion, chassis, ADAS, infotainment).
  • Ensure models meet fidelity levels across concept, design, integration, and validation phases.
  • Perform model validation and correlation against requirements and test data.
  • Support model reduction and optimization for simulation efficiency.
  • Integrate plant models into XIL workflows and environments.
  • Support virtual testing, requirement validation, and system verification activities.
  • Collaborate with controls and system engineers to align plant models with control strategies.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for model development and validation.
  • Participate in model reviews, quality checks, and validation processes.
  • Maintain model documentation, version control, and configuration management.

Job description

We are looking for a Plant Modeling and Simulation Engineer. This role develops, validates, and maintains high-quality 0D/1D plant models supporting XIL, virtual validation, and system integration across multiple vehicle domains at a major OEM.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
