Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in plant modeling, simulation, or V&V environments.
• Strong understanding of Model-Based Development (MBD) and virtual testing methods.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools.
• Knowledge of physical system modeling (0D/1D).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and methods.
• Experience in one scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 0D/1D plant models representing physical systems (e.g., propulsion, chassis, ADAS, infotainment).
• Ensure models meet fidelity levels for development phases (concept, design, integration, validation).
• Perform model validation and correlation against requirements and test data.
• Support model reduction and optimization for simulation efficiency.
• Integrate plant models into XIL workflows and environments.
• Support virtual testing, requirement validation, and system verification activities.
• Collaborate with controls and system engineers to align plant models with control strategies.
• Contribute to continuous integration pipelines for model development and validation.
• Work with system and design teams, architecture and simulation framework teams, testing and validation teams, suppliers and tool vendors.
• Ensure plant models are compatible with simulation platforms and enable cross-domain data exchange and reuse.
• Follow modeling best practices, participate in model reviews, quality checks, and maintain model documentation.

Job Description

• We are seeking a Plant Modeling and Simulation Engineer to develop, validate, and maintain high-quality plant models supporting XIL, virtual validation, and system integration activities.
• This role focuses on building scalable, reusable models across multiple vehicle domains and ensuring alignment with system-level requirements and verification workflows.
• The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including system design, architecture, controls, and testing organizations to enable efficient virtual development and validation using model-based techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Model Development
  • Develop and maintain 0D/1D plant models representing physical systems (e.g., propulsion, chassis, ADAS, infotainment).

Requirements / Basic Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Model-Based Development (MBD) and virtual testing methods
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and methods
