Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to develop capital projects and plant-wide grades. You will work closely with departments to develop project budgets and timelines, and you will develop bid packages and select vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

Provide hands-on project oversight and management while guaranteeing safety and environmental compliance. A 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree, maintenance experience, and strong leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• High level of safety awareness with proven safety record
• Industrial mechanical maintenance experience - minimum of 4 years
• Supervisor experience - minimum 2 years
• Troubleshooting and problem solving (Root Cause Analysis) skills
• Well organized with strong leadership and communication skills
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
