Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. seeks an experienced professional to develop capital projects and plant-wide grades in a hands-on role based in Texas.

You will collaborate with departments to build budgets and schedules, craft bid packages, and manage vendor selection while ensuring safety and environmental standards are met. Lead a team through project oversight, driving maintenance and upgrades with strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Strong safety awareness and proven safety record required.
• Industrial Mechanical Maintenance experience – minimum 4 years.
• Supervisor experience – minimum 2 years.
• Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving skills required.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills required.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
