Amrize is actively seeking a Plant Mechanic to maintain and repair ready mix plant equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operations across hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and mechanical systems. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime to support continuous production.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on maintenance in heavy industrial settings, with welding and fabrication skills, and a strong commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on maintenance in heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Welding, cutting, and basic fabrication skills.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on ready mix plant equipment.
• Inspect and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose root causes.
• Maintain conveyors, rollers, bearings, and drive components.
• Assist with plant shutdowns and capital projects.
