Job summary

Amrize, a leading construction materials provider, is seeking a Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles and mixer fleets across multiple active project environments. The role demands field presence, strong troubleshooting skills, and adherence to safety policies.

You will coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and Driver Lead, perform fleet PMs, and ensure equipment meets performance specs while maintaining regulatory records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions).
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Long and unpredictable hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery trucks operate reducing breakdowns and delays.
• Provides regular fleet PMs and emergency field support across designated territory.
• Troubleshoots and repairs heavy haul vehicles and mixer fleets.
• Maintains safety and environmental standards in all tasks.
• Records FMCSA logs, DOT inspection records, brake certifications, and maintenance sheets.
