Job summary

Spectrum Plastics Group is seeking a seasoned operations leader to drive productivity, quality, and on-time delivery across manufacturing activities. You will oversee processes, tooling, and production capabilities for both custom and proprietary products, while building and mentoring a high-performing team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with executive leadership to achieve growth and operational excellence, with a strong focus on efficiency, budgeting, and strategic resource planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in plastics or related industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.

Equivalent experience may be considered.Minimum of ten (10) years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in plastics or a related industry.Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.Proven ability to balance strategic business objectives with hands-on operational execution.Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams.Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, purchasing, budgeting, and business performance drivers.Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex or undefined situations.Ability to build effective relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders.Track record of delivering operational improvements, business growth, and successful product development within budget and timeline expectations.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentStanding, walking, and sitting for extended periods as needed.Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials or equipment.Reaching above, at, and below shoulder level.Climbing stairs and ladders; bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling.Performing routine manual tasks which may require gross motor skills and occasional fine motor dexterity.Operating a motor vehicle as needed for business purposes.Combination of office and manufacturing floor environments.Occasional exposure to dust, odors, fumes, and industrial noise.Occasional travel is required to support business and operational needs.Spectrum Plastics Group is an equal-opportunity employer.
