Job summary

Ecore seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead the York, PA manufacturing facility. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while building a high-performing team and a culture of operational excellence.

The role requires hands-on leadership across a multi-shift environment, with accountability for budgets, OTIF, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, and Finance to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Operations or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 5+ years as Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent site leader.
• Experience leading salaried supervisors in a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing plant budgets, labor planning, maintenance spending, and capital investments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Epicor/Kinetic is a plus.
• OSHA regulations and environmental compliance knowledge.
• Strong financial acumen and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to safely achieve production, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Develop, coach, and manage supervisors and managers across a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Scheduling, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and Finance to achieve business objectives.
• Manage plant budgets, including labor, maintenance and repair, cost improvement initiatives, and capital expenditures.
• Oversee facility maintenance and asset reliability to maximize uptime and performance.
• Monitor key operational metrics, including OTIF, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Conduct regular plant floor engagement, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
