Job summary

Amrize, a North American infrastructure solutions provider, is seeking a Plant Manager in Glyndon MN to lead mining operations and production planning at the assigned plant. You will ensure safe, efficient throughput, coordinate with dispatch, fleet maintenance, and quality control, and drive productivity while controlling costs.

The role requires 5–7 years in aggregate mining or raw materials plant production, field of study in mining engineering or management, and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Mining/related field knowledge required.
• 5-7 years aggregate mining and plant production experience.
• Proficient computer skills; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify new operational opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Address customer needs while protecting the company’s long-term interests.
• Implement production and scheduling programs to boost productivity and control costs.
• Manage subordinate staff, work independently, meet deadlines, and oversee plant operations.
• Delegate responsibilities and evaluate performance with constructive accountability.
• Participate in safety inspections including MSHA inspections.
• Communicate with site crew (operators, laborers) and adapt to labor conditions.
• Supervise production and maintenance scheduling to sustain efficiency.
• Maintain inventory levels at site to service customer needs.
