Amrize in Glyndon, MN is seeking a Plant Manager to lead mining of raw materials and production at the assigned plant, ensuring safety, quality and timely dispatch. You will align with dispatch, fleet maintenance, QA, and regional finance to optimize productivity and costs.

The role requires 5-7 years in aggregate mining, strong technical skills (SAP), and leadership to coach staff, schedule production, and maintain inventory. A Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Field of Study Preferred: Mining Engineering, Management
• Required Work Experience: 5-7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production experience
• Required Technical Skills: Computer proficiency required. SAP experience would be a plus

Responsabilités

• Consistently identify new operational opportunities and develop strategies for improved efficiency and productivity
• Address customer needs while protecting long-term interests of the Company
• Initiate and implement production and scheduling programs to increase productivity while containing expenses
• Manage subordinate personnel, work independently, meet deadlines, and oversee the Plant with fiscal integrity
• Delegate responsibilities and evaluate performance, holding others accountable constructively
• Participate in Company safety inspections including MSHA inspections
• Communicate with site crew (plant operator, loader operators, laborers) and participate in operating crew if needed
• Supervise team to maintain production and efficiency; schedule production and preventive maintenance
• Maintain sufficient inventory levels at site to service customers
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies
