Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Manager at our Elburn, IL site to lead mining operations and the production of shippable product. You will direct staffing, materials flow, safety, and cost control while coordinating with dispatch, fleet maintenance, and quality control to meet customer demands.

You will develop production strategies to raise productivity, ensure environmental compliance, and maintain high safety standards across on-site teams, while managing budgets and keeping operations aligned with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study: Mining Engineering or Management.
• 5-7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and coordinate with Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance and QC departments.
• Develop production strategies to raise productivity while maintaining safety and controlling costs.
• Manage plant operations, scheduling and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure inventory levels meet customer needs at the site.
• Participate in safety inspections and MSHA inspections.
• Communicate with site crew including plant operators and laborers; may participate in operating crew.
