Job summary

Warren Oil Company, Inc. in Dunn, North Carolina, seeks a dynamic Plant Manager to direct all manufacturing and packaging operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced plastics processing environment.

You will lead up to 100 staff across production, maintenance, and labs, optimize materials flow using SAP/JDE, manage CapEx, scheduling, and compliance with DOT and environmental standards while aligning with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of experience managing a manufacturing facility.
• Five years liquid and compounding experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain activities for manufacturing operations.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills with cross-team collaboration.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards.
• Experience with LEAN, TPM, 5S or Six Sigma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run day to day operations of plastics blow molding, compounding, filling, blending and packaging.
• Manage up to 100 personnel including supervisory, laboratory, production and maintenance teams.
• Oversee inbound/outbound materials using JDE, SAP or similar systems.
• Manage raw materials inventory ordering, tracking, and production work orders.
• Oversee warehousing, rail and trucking transportation with third party transporters.
• Coordinate maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
• Develop and maintain safety, quality and environmental programs.
• Track productivity metrics and implement operating strategies aligned with company goals.
• Ensure accounting, budgeting, and administrative activity is performed by plant personnel.
