Job summary

nVent seeks a Site Leader in Solon, OH to drive Lean transformation across manufacturing operations. You will lead a multi-functional team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash objectives while fostering continual improvement and waste elimination in plant processes.

The role requires extensive manufacturing leadership experience, lean expertise, and strong collaboration with cross-functional partners to meet production plans and enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years experience as a site manager leading 100+ people.
• Ideally 10+ years in manufacturing environments.
• Proven Lean implementation track record and lean-culture development.
• Fabrication experience in metal stamping/pressing, painting and assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash initiatives.
• Drive Lean principles and methods across campus and value streams.
• Coordinate with central planning, quality, safety, finance and HR for site activities.
• Create and execute Site Transformation Plans and annual Value Stream focus.
• Develop and maintain communication with Marketing and District Sales to address customer needs.
