nVent in Solon, OH seeks a Site Manager to lead operations, safety, quality, and productivity across a 100+ person site. You will drive Lean implementation, cost reduction, and waste elimination while partnering with central planning, quality, and HR to meet production plans.

You’ll develop the talent pipeline, foster continuous improvement, and execute transformation plans aligned with enterprise goals. Strong leadership and project management are essential in a manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years as a site manager overseeing 100+ staff.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven Lean implementation experience.
• Fabrication experience in metal stamping/pressing, painting and assembly preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing processes in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the site to safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash goals.
• Drive Lean principles and methods across campus.
• Act as change agent to reduce waste in manufacturing and business processes.
• Provide strategy and direction to Value Stream Manager.
• Partner with central planning, quality, lean, safety, finance and HR.
• Establish site transformation plans and execute them.
• Foster continuous improvement with cost‑effective tools and equipment.
• Develop talent acquisition and people development strategies.
• Communicate with employees and HR for engagement.
• Coordinate with marketing and district sales to respond to customer needs.
• Translate strategy deployment into Kaizen actions.
• Work with leadership to identify opportunities and achieve enterprise goals.
• Develop annual plan for multiple business units focusing on the value stream.
