Job summary

You will coordinate daily production activities, delivery routes, and shuttle scheduling while driving reliability, safety, quality, and compliance initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industrial experience.
• Minimum 5 years in an industrial plant environment.
• 5+ years in driver, operations, distribution or quality roles.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing employees.
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to meet customer demand.
• Coordinate daily production activities and distribution, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling.
• Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet regulations and train employees.
• Monitor production performance and manpower to maintain efficiency and develop contingencies.
• Identify operational challenges and lead improvements related to production processes, shift scheduling, and training.
• Manage equipment and product quality issues, maintain inventory of supplies, and support Lean projects and hazardous waste activities.
