Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in an industrial plant environment.
• 5+ years in driver, operations, distribution or quality roles.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing employees.
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to meet customer demand.
• Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling.
• Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet regulations; ensure training in Linde Safety and Quality systems.
• Monitor production performance and manpower to maintain efficiency and develop contingencies.
• Identify operational challenges and lead improvements in production processes, shift scheduling, and training; report progress to plant management.
• Manage and address equipment and product quality issues; maintain inventory of production supplies; support 5S and Lean projects and hazardous waste activities.
